Blood Lead Analysis: Childhood Lead Poisoning is one of the most common pediatric health problems in the United States today and is entirely preventable. Screening children for lead poisoning is important both to identify children with elevated blood lead levels and provide data that can be used to target community wide interventions. The Kirby Health Center has a fully equipped state-of-the-art laboratory that provides blood lead testing for many EPSDT screening programs throughout the state. The laboratory is certified by CLIA  (Lab# 39D0657582) and the PA Department of Health (Lab# 00016). Kirby Health Center has been performing blood lead analyses since 1975.
