Annex I was built in 1883 by the famous architect, Bruce Price. The Queen Anne Revival Style, which dominated American
architecture in the late 1890's, was introduced to Wilkes-Barre with this building. Price created strong textures for its
exterior by using a combination of brick, shingle, stucco, and timber. The following organizations occupy space in Annex I:
Planned Parenthood of Northeast PA
American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org)
Alzheimer's Association - Greater PA Chapter Northeast Regional Office
Family Service Association of Wyoming Valley
Northeast Regional
Cancer Institute
